Default Gunk in oil cap and neck

I have the 5.4l and have noticed a lot of milky condensate residue in the oil filler neck and cap. It's more than I have seen before. It's been 1900 miles since my last oil change. And the coolant level is normal. Weather has gone between 65 and 20 degrees.

Condensation in the neck. Drive more and the water evaporates better. A lot of short trips can cause this, as does those dramatic temperature changes.

Yup, if you have a short commute or make a lot of quick trips to the gas station where your truck doesn't have time to warm up it will happen.

I have the keypad so if I'm gonna be close to my truck I'll lock it with the truck still running to make sure it can warm up. Especially important in the winter because of dramatic temperature changes like Ricktwuhk said.

Normal condensation. Get it all the time in winter.

Mine had the same thing I noticed a little bit at my last oil change recently since it has cooled off around here and I wont need to do it until spring comes back. I did some searching and found out exactly what was stated above!

It can be if it gets out of hand. Water in the oil is never good. Just make sure to let the truck reach operating temp before shutting it down.
