A Google search led me here.

I want to do this to my work truck, it is a 2007 F-250 Super Duty. The problem is I can't get the bottom cover off the steering column. There are three screws that I have removed, but the cover is just as tight as when the screws were still in.
So my question is...are there some hidden screws I am not seeing? Some kind of tab or tabs that are holding the cover on? I don't want to break anything trying to pry it off.
Here are pictures of the column.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Just a word of caution. I did this mod today and it worked, but unless you know exactly how to remove the wire from the connector, you can fiddle with it for awhile. I finally got it to slip out. Now for me the bigger issue was getting the bottom column cover back on. It came off, but I had to bend it quite a bit to get it off. Then I couldn't get it back on. I ended up removing the steering wheel. With the wheel off, it was easy, but it was extra work I didn't plan on. Since I've never pulled a wheel off it took me longer then normal as well. Just my .02 cents.

Do we know which one of these is responsible for headlights? My door chime works. My headlights does not. I am actually trying to troubleshoot. I may have bumped, pulled or somehow loosened a wire in this connector when I took my dash apart yesterday.
