You guys that converted your edge to a gryphon..have you noticed any type of "gain" with the gryphon v.s. what the edge was??

It feels maybe 20% better. I am happy I did it. I am very picky. You can always convert back to the Edge.

So i changed it to gryphon and this morning my truck wouldnt start it would crank but thts it....what did i do wrong?? Ideas?? Comments??

Return your truck to stock and see if it will start. If it still won't, there's a good chance that it's not the Gryphon.

I'm going to update mine tonight and was wondering can I still run setting 2 tow mode on mine woth 87 octane or does it require 91 octane? Or yours does because it's a custom tune?

Yes i returned it to stock and still no start. Do i need to plug programmer back into computer and try downloading again? I think? Came to find out my fpdm corroded out. Go figure eh..

Thats what I am doing right now. To me, it feels like the engine woke up, much more response and torque. i am going to try 89 just to see if I can turn the timing up a little (i adjusted it .25 already with no pinging) and get even more out of it.
