I just updated mine!! Took forever to load my Level 2 custom settings. I am assuming it took a while because it is the first time a file was transferred from the Gryphon to the trucks PCM. Strange seeing a Gryphon on the screen at start up! Next step will be a 91 Octane performance tune from PHP. A HUGE Thank You to MHOWELL34 for the step by step guide!! Thanks man!!

No, PHP no longer custom tunes the CS or CTS, just the Evolution.

How does it run now? I may put my stock intake back in it and run the Gotts mod until I get my custom tune for my intake

Have no clue! I installed the tune and made sure it started up. Its in the garage for the night and I didnt feel like moving either the Expedition or daughters Grand Prix to find out. I will report after I get home from work tomorrow night. I am not expecting a big difference. I converted to a Gryphon so I could order a custom 91 octane tune from PHP.

The 89 performance tune is solid. Although I solely run a 93 tune now, I have had 87, 89, and 93 performance tunes from PHP and the 89 was the all around best on my 5.4 liter, including fuel costs. My only issue was occasional pinging with that tune.

I've been running 93 lately anyway so I should be okay. And I always use citgo or shell never the cheaper gas stations

How harsh was it on the transmission?
