Buying a 07 f150 with very high mileage
i am looking at a 2007 F150 Supercab XLT 4WD with 143,000 miles on it. i am getting a good deal on it probably because of the milelage but its too good to pass up. they are asking $8000 CDN (yes i am canadian).
anything i should be concerned about? i am buying it from a dealer and it has been inspected. any information would be helpful.

I've got an 05 Lariat, just turned over to 156k and it's runs great now. Just stay on top of maintenance and DON'T scrimp on oil. I'm running Shaffers 10-30 full synthetic(7500 miles between changes). If it was me, I'd buy it.

Just picked up an 07 Lariat 4x4 with 142k, from a dealer. I was a little nervous about it, but I can handle a wrench which saves a ton. Plus I know many friends with high mileage F150's and have no issues.
Plus, it has everything and more I was looking for in a truck for my budget.
Good Luck!

Guy I have an 04 and right after I bought it with 147k I had to rebuild the tranny I was told that they were only good for about 140k so I would be careful. And 140k isnt bad for a f150 but I guess alittle since its an 07.

x3 for the spark plugs. Just keep up on maintenance and don't go for a lesser quality maintenance item just to save a few bucks. How do you think mine got to 306,000 Miles with very little done other than maintenance? (I should clarify that it's still running strong too.)
Really? My 04 at 306K is still on the original, my 97 at 180K is still on the original too. In fact, there's only one person I've known in person that has had to replace a Ford F-Series Transmission at less that 200K, but then again, he's pretty rough on his vehicles, and that's an understatement.
