Starter went out today...I thought, no big deal, I'll grab one and have it swapped out in no time....hahaha fat chance. As soon as I get under the truck, it starts pouring rain. Then the real fun started. Whoever engineered this truck needs to be slapped. The top bolt on the starter is nearly impossible to get to. I finally got to it an hour after fighting every angle I could by going thru the fender liner with 3 extensions and a u joint behind the socket. I get the old starter out, install the new one, minus the top bolt. It's not worth it...now here's the real kicker...I'm tightening the cable to the starter and the entire stud breaks off the solenoid. Now I have to take the whole d@mn thing apart again and go back to Napa to exchange the starter. Guess I'll finish up tomorrow...figures...
