Grooves in the roof?
Was wondering if anyone knows the real purpose of the grooves(indentions) that are on the 04 & up F150's roofs? Are they there for an aerodynamic advantage?, to hold water after a rain?, or did Ford just want us to go nsane while tryin to put a coat of wax and buff it off, and have to really work hard at doin it? Thank God for easy off Meguairs waxes tho!!

I think I read somewhere that those were meant to make the roof span a bit more sturdy, as well as to direct water and snow off.
