Scraping/light grinding sounds on new truck! Me too!
UPDATE TO PREVIOUS POST ABOUT GRINDING NOISE:
I took it in yesterday and it was the IWE solenoid's on both side. I told them what I thought it was so I didn't get a run around and also asked them to replace them with the new and improved ones with the water shield and they did that as well.
By this happening both of my Actuators where ruined. I was surprised to find I had a 5 year or 50,000 mile power train warranty on the truck that covered the actuators with only a $100 deductible.

Sounds like an aluminum can rubbing or scraping on something lightweight for just a second or two. Not consistent, no smells, nothing out of place visually that I can find.
There seems to be more frequency on certain freeway overpasses when the truck is on a slight incline or leaning ever so slightly. Sounds like its coming from driver side. Only happens once every few weeks. Just started this month.
What the hell could this sound be!?
