I got an 07 XLT 4x4 and I just put a 2.5" RC leveling kit and put some 35x12.50x17 on my stock rims. When I put the leveling kit on it everything was fine. The next day I put my 35s on the rims and they clear except when at a full lock. I noticed after I was driving it home; while on the brakes there is a grinding noise that almost sounds like worn/warped brakes. I just replaced all 4 pads about 3 months ago and checked them when I got home. I don't see anything wrong with the truck. Has anybody ever experienced this issue or know what the issue may be?

Well you put larger, heavier wheels on....you're using your brakes a lot more/harder now so chances are your rotors warped?

I do know my rotars are warped a little but that dosent explain the grinding noise when I changed my pads 3 months ago does it?

Bigger and wider tires will result in short live of wheel bearings.

You initially replaced pads only and did nothing to the rotors? New pads on used rotors?
