alright you know that part of the grille that surrounds the honeycomb area? it comes in either chrome or the color of the truck... mine is chrome but i want to change it to black..

does anyone know if i can buy this:

and take off the hbar style inserts grille(the middle part) and change it with the one i have? or should i just go have it painted?

any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

You can separate and just use the surround on that but that's a lot of money if you just want the surround and he noted it has some marks on it.



You can have your chrome surround painted or buy this one, but I would ask for some pictures of what here's talking about. You my find your not happy with it and have to have it painted anyways.

If you watch ebay long enough I bet you can find one for at least half that cost

I don't think it should cost any more than $50 but I'm not a painter.

i have one that i swapped out because i wanted a chrome h-bar and surround. they are very hard to change out. the tabs tend to break but it can be glued together anyways.i have a cabon fiber look surround you can have if you want it. you can paint it and save yours. just pay shipping and its yours.

is it a surround for the H-bar style or regular honeycomb?

regular honeycomb...they are the same though....i put in an h-bar.
