Default Grille emblem removal

What's the best way to remove the emblem from the tailgate and the grille?

The one on the grille is easy. Raise the good, and unscrew to the 2 bolt looking things. I think it's 8mm. The tailgate, I believe must be heated and then removed. Not sure how, so don't quote me on that one.

Tail gate would probably be best with a heat gun and fishing line. Although I haven't actually done it, that seems to be the way everyone has success with.

Now for the grill, open up the hood and look behind the grill. There should be two bolts keeping the emblem on. Removing it is as simple as removing those bolts.

Quoted. . But in all seriousness, thanks. I'm gonna remove the tarnished crap and sand it, paint it red, and put ford back on it to replace it. The stealership wanted 100 a pop for those things

yes front one can either be 3m taped or bolted, super easy to remove. rear, heat with hairdryer till warm but not too hot. it gets adhesive warm and soft. Use a small screw driver or plastic putty knife and lift corner , working it till it starts lifting. make sure you put something soft underneath whatever tool you use to protect paint. Pop it off. To get a remainder of tape / adhesive off I used an autobody "majic eraser?", its a large eraser wheel that you put on end of drill. Costs like 10 bucks. Takes only a few minutes and doesn't wreck the paint. Last time I used my fingers and had blisters for weeks!
