Default Grill opinion.

FOMOCO466 in this forum is selling some grilles custom made. I was thinking about just having the lower grill only installed, what do you guys think. The upper grill being black seems to go good with the rest of the truck format.

IMO, it wouldn't match having that grill in only the bottom section. Your factory grill looks good with the truck now, but putting that one in the bottom section would make your factory grill look weird. I'd go all or none with it.

i agree. it looks ok to do the main grille and not the lower but if you did the lower and not the upper, itd look dumb

Personally i think you need to do top only or top and bottom together. I think the billet look on the bottom only would stand out too much and look weird

I personally would not do just the bottom. Your truck looks good the way it is if you're not going to do top and bottom. My father in law did the what you're thinking of doing to his 05 F-150 and it always looks incomplete or like someone stole the top grille.

Now if you install a black lower grille that would look solid.
