Default Grill and lights question

Hey guys, Iv decided I want a black fx2 grill. Anyone know were I can find that at? I have found this one http://www.f150sale.com/accessories.html#outback but its more expensive than others iv seen and its not painted. I would need to find a painted one because I dont know the first thing on how to paint lol. Also how do I get the blueish tint color to my lights? I would want the main headlight and the fog lights to be blue. Is it just a bulb? haha sorry I dont know much bout lights either lol

Your safest bet would be a local body shop & tell them what you want- They will also paint your grille any color you want for a price of course- Hey you would be helping your local economy by supporting small business.

you can just swap out the bulbs to some cheapy rice bulbs from autozone. i dont recommend that. those can burn your housing. i have HIDs in my truck. i have a buddy that can get them for about 125 brand new. if you like the blue either 8000k or 10000k for the bulb. check out my pics. i have 8000k in my fog and headlights. they were still cold when i took the pic so they were more blue than what they really are when they warm up. you get a much better light output with the real HIDs as well. the right way to go in my opinion.

I replaced the inner "bar grill" with the honeycomb style on my 2005 STX. I just prefer the honeycomb because IMO, it looks more sporty. You can remove the inner grille assembly from it's outer dress ring, however Ford only sells this assembly as a whole; they do not sell individual pieces, and their prices range from $250.00 to about $425.00.

If your not after a customized grille, visit the local boneyard, buy the entire front grille, and bring it home to remove the inner piece if need be. The STX models have a painted outer trim ring, so this can go to the local paint shop to be matched to your truck, then you can insert whatever inner grille you want.

Default grille

I've got a FX2 grille I'm getting ready to swap out with a ROUSH chrome grille in my father n laws truck. It's his x-mas gift. You interested in it? It is brand new but installed, he broke the old one, and the body shop just repalced it.(it'll be out of the shop around this friday) It's an 07 f150 FX2. It'll just be the center part, but it just pops out, and it'll snap right into place on yours.

Default fx2 grille

here's a pic of what it looks like... you'd use your surround(the painted part on the outside) but you'd be getting the center part
