Bump - Please folks, any idea? Or should I just slap them on after cleaning the sway bar, and leave them ungreased?

Sure why not. Your not going to hurt anything. Just don't pack it on so that grease gets all over everything. Just a tiny bit.

Ford says no.

With that being said, who knows if Moog/Motorcraft share the same bushing material. I'm not going to grease them. Easier to grease if they squeak, than remove grease.

I have always used a small amount of grease when installing new sway bar bushings. So long as the grease is not a type that will be damaging to the material of the bushing, it will help with longevity and reduce wear.

I use white lithium on my sway bar bushings. Like the others said, just a little bit. When I first got my truck there was a squeak that took a couple weeks to find, turns out the white lithium grease solved my problem when I sprayed the sway bar bushing. It was the very last thing I suspected........when I did my front end rebuild, I lightly greased the inside of the bushings and no issue since.
