Default Gotts Mod or K&N CAI

Which would you pick for a daily driver. I drive my truck like an old man but looking for input.

Gotts mod with a high flow air filter. K&N drop in and dont over oil when you clean it or use a AEM dryflow. CAI do nothing for our trucks as you already have one with how the factory intake draws cool air from the fender.

You are welcome. One question, what climate do you live it?

Since you are in a cold climate, I would not, not use the AEM dryflow. It put my truck in limp mode 3 times (after I did some evaluations with the factory intake, Gotts mod and different air filters). All 3 times was when we were getting freezing rain/ice/snow here in Kansas. Got rid of the AEM and kept the Gotts mod with a WIX filter and all is well now.

I run a WIX, just a regular old paper filter. If ice crystals get to your MAF, it will throw a code, I remember it being PO61b or similar.

I agree with summers 100%. I have the KN CAI and yeah, the intake noise is nice but not worth the 300$

You get the intake noise with the Gotts mod as well. No CAI is worth anything on our trucks.
