Default Got tinted tail lights but now need brighter bulbs

I've had my tail lights tinted for some time now but yesterday I got pulled over and I got written up for them. But I'd rather spend some money on brighter brake and signal lights than get new housings..

I've seen LED back up lights but not brake or signal.. are they available?

Here is how they look

They make LED tailights. Ebay has a ton, and I have even seen smoked LEDs.

There is an LED store at the corner of 1st ave and boundary, they should have LED bulbs that plug replace the stock bulbs.

You can order any bulb for our truck in led online. I use ddmtuning.com for my lighting but many like to use superbrightled.com (they are a little more expensive but faster shipping and tell you what bulb for your truck). Also for brake lights a lot of people use red LEDs because they will make it brighter and more red.

same thing happened to me. but it was right after i had gotten my emissions test for my tag renewal and i passed. so the ticket was dropped. i did add an led light bar under the tailgate so people behind me would know when i do brake....

I use LED switchbacks for my front turn signals but I have aftermarket tail lights which are all led already.

Come out to our next meet. I can sell you my 7.5W Cree LED bulbs if you want. They use one (1) 5W Cree LED and 12 5050SMD LEDs for a total of 7.5W of power. You'll need either resistors or a E27 LED Flasher Relay to prevent "hyper flash". Here is a link to the upgrade I did last year.

I currently run similar bulbs but at 25W with five (5) 5W Cree LED bulbs. If you come to our next meet then I can show you what they look like. My supplier will also be providing me with a new 50W Cree LED bulb that uses ten (10) 5W Cree bulbs.
