Got stuck - power steering not working
I got stuck (REALLY stuck) in the mud Saturday. Had to get pulled out by a tractor. Power steering started going out at some point while I was still trying to get out myself. Acts just like low fluid, but fluid level was just above the "min" line. I topped it off, but after three days of driving its still acting like low fluid. No loss of fluid what so ever. Air in the line???

Could be air, or you could have blown a seal in your pump. You should probably get it checked out by a dealer

I would say the steering shaft has bound up. When my shaft bound up it was all of a sudden after a snow storm. Steering wheel was stiff, would not return to center after turns.
I thought the same thing flushed the PS pump out, new fluid everything
Take the shaft off up by the firewall then with the truck running straighten the shaft out and try twist the shaft by hand. If it turns easy its the shaft.
Do a search on it. Its a common problem
