Got Rearended

I got rear ended a few weeks ago by a slammed civic. Turning right off a highway and he must've been texting. Slammed into me. His hood bucked, bumper smashed, and both headlights shattered. My trailer harness broke and a bit of his fake carbon fibre paint from his hood transferred onto my receiver. $40 for me, write off for him.

I wondered what kind of damage I would have had if it was still stock. I've got 33" tires and an AAL in the back, so about 3" higher than stock. I'd imagine that she would have taken out a section of the bed instead of going underneath

And the frame......which probably would have totaled your truck depending on which state you live in. You also would of had more energy transferred forward, so injuries could have been worse.

Thanks..... the trooper said I "Sure have an awesome truck..." I told him I'm getting the plates changed.
Meeting with the progressive adjuster next week for my check. Going to have the shop fix the axle and shock mount and I'll do the rest.

Thanks. It's made in Texas and just over $500. Shipping up here is going to be $450, but a local shop wanted $1500 for an Iron Bull. The Ranchhand Sport was my second choice, same price, but only $300 shipping due to weight.
But Bodyguard is a pipe based design vs plate-steel, and weighs 2x as much.
