got rear ended today

Default got rear ended today

doesnt look to bad. frame mount and frame are bent in the area.

pic really doesnt show how bad its bent.



anyone selling a used bumper? lol and yes the DODGE that hit me is in the reflection of my gate...

That sucks man, I know how it feels to have something you try keep looking nice smashed into by a careless driver (the Ranger before my F150 was totaled this way).

I can see the damage on the left side of the plate housing where the plastic is creased .

I don't have a used bumper for sale but I was curious if the ball hitch took any of the impact. I keep a fairly substantial ball hitch mounted back there for this very reason (mostly for plastic-bumpered Civics and such) and was wondering if it helped absorb/deflect the impact at all.

Again, sorry for your misfortune. I hope that Dodge took a beating for the driver's carelessness!!

It looks like the left side bumper took the direct hit, but I will speak from experience the ball hitch usually does protect if its hit there. Mine mangled the hood of a stratus, it looked like an accordion, that went underneath me at a red light with no damage to mine. I was trying to be funny afterward and apologized for their hood, lol..
