Default GOT my BFGs...

Im extatic! I finally got my tires. (Thanks Nate)... Tomorrow i will get the truck leveled "2.5 HBS" and BFGs 305/65/18 & stock wheels. I know i'm already in too deep, but will ask anyway. Anyone have any advice or issues that I should be aware of with this setup? Thanks. I will post pics once done.

SWEET!!
Had them installed today along with the HBS level. All I need is an alignment which I will take care of tomorrow. Love it!! No rubbing either.

I have the 285/18's on mine and the only problem I've had is wear. They call for 80# max psi...I ran about 45 to soften the ride and drove mine real hard on 9 hr trips home on interstates and constantly running thru pastures and everywhere else on pipeline projects. The wear problem I've had is on the rear....Maybe they were overkill for a 1/2 ton but the rears seemed to wear in the middle fairly quick. Is it because the bed and all is so light and they're kinda hopping? Dunno....but I put 30K hard miles on them and they did exactly what I needed. Rock, brush stumps, snow, highways,no problem. Gonna replace them and if I go back w/KO, gonna run the manufacturers recommended 35 and see how that does. May go with Nitto Terras as an 8 ply...just gonna flip a coin, but, that was the only problem with the KO's I had.

80psi is way to much and 35 isn't enough run them at 40 that's what I ran my 285's at and they wore evenly.

jok, we have virtually identical trucks. Not only are those BFGs sweet but they are good stuff. The other day i got them rotated and they found two nails, neither of which went through!

That is certainly good to know. They are really quiet too. Got the alignment and the truck truly sits level. I'm loving it!

Techrep: Those KM2s do look awesome, but I don't mud or off-road enough to justify the tire, besides I got these for a very good price and the tires are almost new, they still have the little rubber **** on them.

BIG Shout Out to STREET LEGAL CUSTOMS in Reading Area, PA. They balanced, mounted and intsalled my leveling kit, then washed and shined the tires at an extremely good price. Excellet customer service to boot.

those tires are awesome have them on mine now a little over a year with no problems. I do get a minor rub at full lock but I only have a 2" level, they are also on the stock rims. good luck with them
