I've went both ways. VHT Caliper paint chips and takes times to do. Caliper covers are easy to put on and you don't have to maintain. IMO if you have the money , caliper covers is the way to go.

I think the caliper covers look pretty good. A truck where I work has them and they stand out without looking cheesy in my opinion.

You are going to hear from me about your rockstars. Did you paint your center star flat black? I like it alot. I have a new set of center caps waiting for winter to be over that are going on the truck so I'll have my set of flaking caps to mess with. I think the flat black is nice looking.

I am ordering set for my 2010 Harley Davidson F150. Have a friend who painted his calipers. Paint looks good for a minute. But he has repainted them at least 3 times in 2 years. To much trouble painting them. Plus the brake dust coats them within a day or two of average driving. Looks good on your truck. I like the Rockstars too!
