Default Got MGP caliper covers!

Ok, I've only seen one thread on caliper covers and alot of people trashed them due to price and look cheesy. But after reading your threads. I didn't want to spend all weekend prepping, painting and having to touchup every 3 months. So for $189.00, I went ahead and got the red ones with ford logo on them. I didn't have to take wheels off or clean anything, took me about 10 minutes on each to put on.
I personally love the way they look and will buy them over again if I bought new truck. I am curious on what you guys think, so be honest!
Also, I don't want to here anything about my Rockstars . Thankyou

Do you have a link to where you purchased them? I like the fact you didn't have to prep the area or take off the wheels to install them. Truck looks cool.

I'm thinking some of you are getting lazy these days. I guess that's good for the aftermarket though. Painting your own calipers is not hard; the prep is no big deal either. Spray on brake cleaner from a can, use an old toothbrush, then brush on caliper paint. How hard is that? I did it on my calipers 1 year ago. and the red is as clean and shiny as your covers. And I only had $40.00 invested. More coin for other mods.

Look good! I agree with Bucko though...a little elbow grease and the same and possibly longer lasting results. I have to do this on my calipers ASAP, I've replaced the driver side twice now and pass once and both are rusting up. I don't know what it is with this truck and eating calipers!?

I got them on carid.com.
Also, i agree with all of you except for the lazy part. I work 12 hr shifts , five days sometimes 6 a week so spending my weekend painting them is not going to happen. But, if I had the time, i would of painted them . Also, I do think that the original price of $230.00 is high, I think 125.00-$150.00 would be descent price. But overall for $189.00, im happy w the product , I like the way they look and would recommend them to anyone who is interested.

I have those on my Harley, I got them on ebay for $170.00 and there well worth it. They have been on my truck for almost 2 years now and have been through 2 very harsh winters, salt, sand, you name it as I live in Northern Canada and there just as good as the day I bought them, there built to last. I painted my Calipers when I first bought the truck and it didn't last and didn't look half as good as these covers. I had a few guys bash mine but I think the problem with these guys is they just can't afford them. They look great man and will last a long time. Not sure how you got away with not taking your wheels off, I had to take mine off.
