It just irritates me that people drive like this. By no means is my truck quick at braking, so I do not understand how he didn't have time to slow down.
He was probably texting.

They ender up with a nice hole in their bumper, this person was driving looking threw their center console paying no attension to me and a red light in front of them drivers these days are rediculous.

That's what I was thinking. He is a grad student here at UGA like me, so I felt sorry for him. I definitely obey the 3 second rule in my truck and have yet to rear-end anyone.

I got rear-ended a few weeks ago by a dodge ram at a pretty low speed. New bumper, hitch and paint estimate from body shop and the other guys insurance were both right at $2150. I think the rear bumper alone was close to $1600 painted.

Why do people keep destroying your awesome trucks?

I was wishing I did so bad. It may already be totaled just from that damage. He had alot of at first overlooked damage: hood, radiator, bumper, both headlights, passenger quarter panel, and it even crushed the passenger door so that it will not open. He did scratch up my hitch pretty good now that I look at it. I'm going to get money for a new one. I shouldn't have to suffer from someone else's careless driving.

Hahaha that's what I was wondering! It's barely been a year since someone totaled my old truck. This one is significantly larger and should be much more difficult to destroy!

You shouldn't have to suffer.. you should be rewarded for the aggravation, that's why you take the check, get it fixed cheap, then buy yourself a little present with the rest. It's only fair.
