I run MT/R's on my Jeep and they are one of the best offroad tires out there. That's a great price for the amount of tread that is still left. What are you going to put them on? What size are they?

Just to understand this: 3 tires with all that tread plus the wheels for $150? If so, it's a no brainer to me. The price you'd pay for one of those tires brand new would be at least around $200 itself, assuming that's a 32" or 33" tire.

Actually they are 35's,lol.Ya i just wanted ppl's feedback thats all.I am going to get them.

Grimmjeeper,ya thanks for your reply. They are going on another set of 17inch rims that i have.Size are 35X12.50R17

Thunderslide,ya,epic fail for you buddy, lol. You were of no use.I could care less how i spell really. My job don't depend on it and i make more than most English teachers anyways.

OK next question is,three of them are good.I have to by a fourth one cause the tread is crap, can i run a brand new one with the 3 older ones and be fine?

Yes, that is a screaming deal so that is a no brainer. Too bad it only three tires though. The problem you are going to have is the old MT/R is no longer being made so finding a match will be a challenge. The new MT/R's with Kevlar are a fantastic tire, but are a totally different design and are also sized differently than the old ones (they are actually closer to their intended size). Check ebay and other boards for another used old style MT/R.

I have always had a concern about running tires that are in a sense different diameters. Not sure it the wear is enough to be a concern. If you have an open rear end it may not matter but a LS rear end might wear the clutches with that little slip. Perhaps a tire shop that caps tires could shave the new one to match the other three. I would have to know the difference before I made a decision. I am not sure if on the front it would pull that way, the difference may be small enough to not notice. not sure what the spec. on a new tire is.

you will have no issues running one new with 3 older tires.
