I realize that the way one Cop acts doesn't mirror the attitude for all cops. And I hope that nobody takes anything I've said like I'm bashing on Cops everywhere. I've taken a few different Criminal Justice classes in college and feel like I have a pretty good understanding for the Law and stuff. And I've tried to keep everything on my truck legal. The windows I knew where a little too dark, but as I'm sitting here, it's litarally 109 degrees outside right now. So dark windows help a lot around here! Lol! It just bugged me to talk to people around my home town that have personally seen him take people for rides and spin the tires and drive crazy to show off, then he pulls me over for something so minor. But I still realize the law is the law. Just wish he would've given me a warning. After all, I'm 25 years old and believe it or not..........first time ever I've been pulled over while I was driving. But I do respect what police officers everywhere do on a daily basis. And it's been really cool getting a couple of Cops opinions on radar detectors and the whole situation. And thanks for the comment on my truck!

yea i understand....i have never written a window tint, tire violation, loud exhaust, or any other stupid equipement citation and i dont think i ever will....i have duals on my truck, i have dark tint on my truck, and i have owned a jeep with 35s that stuck outside the wheel wells before....as far as im concerned as a police officer there are bigger and better things...but i work in a small town in a small county....some of the big cities write those things as traffic enforcement all the time. but yea, if you ever have any legitimate ?s related to the law dont be afraid to ask....

The cops in around my area don't use lasers then. My Cobra picks up cops way before I can even see them. The one time I got the laser warning I was 5 hours from home, rolling down I-15 and I was going the speed limit.

Respect to our police officers and hats of for the service they provide!

DUDE never a problem!! Ill be glad, like my other brother officers here, to answer any questions you got . Here in the BIG CITY lots of guys get into the equipment stuff on the j.o drivers we get. AND CAUSE OF OUR REQUIRED NUMBER EVERY MONTH. In nyc there no point violations.
sooo remember just be carefeul. what youll never get unless youve been there, 80 plus into a wall.... SPEED KILLS...
