Default Good oil choice for 08 F150 4.6 16V?

The truck currently has 3,000 miles and I have been running the Motorcraft semi-synthetic 5w-20 blend in the vehicle since it was bought band new. Is it safe to switch over to a full synthetic at 3,000 miles? If so what is a good brand of full synthetic oil? I am willing to pay a premium if there is one good alternative that stands out among the rest of the brands. I was thinking mobile one 5w-20 with a mobile one filter? Let me know, Thanks.

Screw the semi synthetic or the synthetic or dino oil.

Run whale oil.

Smells like a rolling fish fry and pisses off PETA all at once!

A different twist to the ever debating oil posts...

As long as you use semi synthetic and change every 3000 to 4000 miles, your good. If you switch to full synthetic, you can go longer (depending on the manufacturer of the oil), If you go full synthetic and change at 3000 to 4000 miles, your wasting your money; stay with the semi synthetic.

You can switch back and forth to dyno, semi, or full synthetic any time. No worries with seal problems or leakage, these are old myths. Pay no attention.

And for more (tons and tons) information on oil, search on "oil" and hold onto your chair.

Haha, nice. I would love that and if any state has whale oil in stock, it would be Texas.

I run Mobile1 full syn and change it every 6K. Works fine for me and always looks pretty clean when I change it.

Speaking of semi-synth, anyone know who has the motorcraft goop?

Advance auto used to carry it, and they don't anymore. Bastards.

I ran out of whale oil, seal oil is out of season, and cod liver oil just smells too foul.
