Default Good Exhaust without drone?!?

Hey guys I'm new to thee forum but I recently bought a 07 150 xl 4.6 ext cab 6.5ft bed. so I want to get an exhaust that you can tell its a v8 and has a nice rumble to it, but is drone free because i take long trips on the highway and have young siblings. So I have a used magnaflow double offset 2.5in 14in muffler sitting in my garage, would this fit the bill or be to loud? If not I'm also looking at getting a flowmaster 50 series but not sure which would better suit my needs. I've done a lot of youtube digging and havnt really found any quality videos of either from inside the cab and outside. I dont care to much for performance as this is just a daily driver more about having a good sound outside and nice and quiet inside. once I choose a muffler I have my own welder and 2.5in exhaust tube, I'm looking just to put in a muffler and save the rest of the stock exhaust. do i want an offset in offset out or center in offset out or what, to fit in place of the stock one? hope you guys can shed some light on this for me thanks!

Try the 14." You already have it. If it's too loud, go with the series 50.

I just switched from a flowmaster to a magnaflow. Sounds much better on the throttle and much less drone.

I've had both Borla pro xs and a Borla atak muffler with no drone. They sound incredible outside of the cab but on the inside it's pleasant

I have the Magnaflow 16518 catback. Sounds great when you get on it, but not obnoxious.

Agreed. This was an easy choice for me.

I have a Flowmaster Delta 50 -- love love love it. It exits behind the rear wheel. There's no drone. When you're on the throttle it sounds like a V8 and you know it, but otherwise, great.
