Default Going plasti dip crazy

Just looking for opinions. I'm in the middle of plasti dipping my stock rims because I'm sick of seeing he rust stain the rims. I've already decided I'm going to also do my emblems, but wanted some opinions on the chrome bumpers. I've noticed it's hard to find any pics of someone with my color truck to see what it looks like. I know I can just peel it off if I don't like it but would like some feedback if it'll look alright or if anyone has done it with this color truck. Thanks

Thanks man. Does it not hold up well up there? I'm in Ohio and I know it's probably not as bad as Canada with winters but can get pretty crappy.

I'm in Illinois, and I dipped my daughters rims on her Jeep Liberty back in November. We had one of the worse winters in a long time(as did most of the country) and it held up unbelievably good. I was shocked! That stuff is awesome! Your wheels look good!

I don't have the same color truck but I have done my bumpers, rims (same as yours), rocker panels, emblems and running boards. It's holding up just fine after 4 months of mudding and numerous washes.

That's good to know. I'd hate for me to take all this time to do my 4 coats and coat of gloss all for nothing lol.

Did you take the running boards off to do that? Mine are already black but pretty faded. I was thinking of doing the running boards, bed rail caps, and door handles too so it all kind of matches.

Yes, I took them off so I could spray the entire running board.
I would pass on doing the door handles and bed rail caps.
Use Krylon Fusion paint instead on those pieces.

Yea I was doing some reading on it and I think I'll try a rubbing compound before anything.
