Going from Mustang GT to F150 King Ranch 4x4
First things, Hello all! I'm moving over to these forums from ModdedMustang.
Ok selling my car and buying a truck. I found a 2005 F150 King Ranch for 13,500 with 132k miles, in Austin. Financing is all ready to go and I'm look at going grab it Saturday. I just wanted yalls opinion on the truck. I was looking for something with lower miles but the price for a KR cant be beat. It's the miles, price, and the steering Wheel that are bugging me the most, though. I'm just scared of getting a junker...

If it does not have a loud tick in the engine and 4x4 works.. I'd buy it.
132k is quite something but my truck has 160K+ still going strong.
P.S. I hate the rims & the tires....

if definitely has all the toys! Did you run a carfax? I would tell them to change out the plugs as a term of purchase. The seller yanked the ad, is this being sold at a Ford dealer? Does it have any kind of inspected/certified preowned status? I know its a buttload of miles. But, if its been maintained, I wouldnt see an issue. Did you verify the 4x4 function? On a side note, when I bought my truck, the salesguy advised me against the KR because of the leather, it doesnt seem to age very well

Forgot to put that, It has an AutoCheck and it's clean, 3 owners but clean. It's not from a Ford Dealer but it is from a Chevy Dealer. The fact that the steering wheel doesn't have the KR leather doesn't bother anyone? Could of been replaced or fell off.
P.S. I hate the rims and Tires too! First thing Rims, Tires, and side steps.
