Question Gibson Single Exhaust Sytem-P/N #619618

Has anyone tried one of this system? I like the low-noise level as advertised on their web site. What is the difference in any for MPG? I mainly use the truck for towing my travel trailer, but don't know if the expense over stock is worth the $$$. looks like a fairly easy installation according to the instructions.

I had one on for a day and it sounded completely stock, I wanted a little more noise, so I took it off. Install was very easy, I didn't have it on long enough to see any mpg data. It is really quiet.

I thought about one, but heard someone else's and its not much different than stock. I think I'm going with the Banks single outlet monster exhaust

My truck has a Gibbson dual system out the l & R sides. I like it...It has a nice rumble with out the resonance inside the cab. My last truck had a Flow Master system and although it sounded nice the interior noise was unbearable for my ears! I don't think you would be dissapointed with a Gibbson system

Smile

Thanks, I don't need to wake-up my neighbors when I leave/come home. I'm looking for a quiet/low-restriction system, and this appears to be the best bet out there.

You can hear mine if your close to the Boston area. You won't wake the neighbors. It's got a nice rumble driving normal...if you stand on it they'll hear you coming!
