Bought these from ebay and installed them yesterday. Pretty straight forward install. Tapped into the mirror courtesy lamp wires (BK-LB) and (BK). Drilled the door panels. Snug fit so they won't slide back out and voila !
THAT IS SO BADASS!!!! just when I told my wife I wasn't spending any more money on the truck until after Christmas, you go and make me a liar, haha. did you have to do the "your logo here" custom order, or were you able to find the f150 logo premade?
Here is the link. I wonder if they are waterproof....I would love to mount these into my running boars or running board brackets and then they would light up when I hit the door unlock on the fob, like puddle lights.
Be careful with these. You're going to want to check all the seams and run some silicone on them. I hear, all too often, about these things failing after a handful of months. The ones that last for years are the exception, it seems, and not the rule.
