Default Getting new wheels and tires...advice?

Hey everyone just joined on here. I have on 07' XLT 2WD. I just ordered the 6" skyjack suspension kit. I'm in a bind of what tires to get. I drive about 11 miles to work, don't do much off roading but want something with bit and looks and that will last long. Am able to go up to 35" tire. Any opinions?

Welcome. I would go with a bigger tire or a smaller lift... 4" with 35's will look better. Heck, folks are stuffin 35s with just leveling kits.

Cant go wrong with Nitto Terra Grapplers or BFG A/Ts for tires...

Good luck!

The 4x4 trucks fit 35s with a leveling kit... his truck is 2wd so 35s wouldnt be as bad on there and skyjacker probably recommends the 35

The best advise I would give is go for what you like the most and don't base it on the price. I originally two years ago wanted a set-up but it was kinda expensive compared to other options, so I went with other options.. well months went by and I was not happy at all with my decision and still wanted my original choice, but unfortunately the current set wasn't worth very much to sell used so to this day I've had two cheaper set-ups. I have thought they both were ok but still long for the original set I wanted and now cannot afford it.
If its kinda expensive, save up, don't cheap out cause you wont be happy in the end.

Thanks guys you all rock. Was a huge help. I got the 6" skyjacker suspension lift and decided to get 20" rims and 35" tires. I'll post pictures of before and after.

Thanks MAXOUT05 I'm still in the process of looking. Think I'm going for crome wheels for sure. This forum is sweet. So glad I got the F150. Suspension kit comes in end of this week.
