Like everyone has mentioned above....you have purchased the wrong vehicle if you care that much about gas mileage....I used to care about it....then I realized it's a truck. I have an edge evolution programmer converted to a gryphon and on my last long trip I averaged just a hair over 17 MPG. (Keep in mind that I am running a 33" x 12.5" MTZ TIRE WITH AGGRESSIVE TREAD!) I went 55 mph on decently flat roads with little to no grade changes. I would suggest purchasing the programmer and getting a custom tune. You may not see much improvement due to the fact that it will sound much better when you stomp on it, but at least you have the option to change the settings. 4.10 gears wouldn't hurt either, and try cleaning your MAF and Throttle body if you decide to get a CAI, and DO NOT OVER OIL IT! Good luck with your futile quest for improved gas mileage....I failed the quest, it just sounds too good with the hammer down!

Just drive from NH to OH and back I got 15.3-15.7

Running an 06 SCREW with the 5.4 K&N air filter Rancho quick lifts and 275/70 18 Toyo OC
