Got my grabbers mounted up and aligned today. They were a great Craigslist deal I just couldn't refuse. They are 35 x 12.5 r20 with a little more then half tread left.

They balanced nicely considering they were used. I fit them under my 04 screw with a 2.5 inch level. No bad rubbing at all on my 10" wide rims.

They were great in 2wd in mucky grass, they pulled my truck right through.

Highway was smooth and free of bump steer.

From an initial start from a stop you can feel every lug on the tread pattern until you get moving.
They corner well thus far, and have given me a lot more road comfort over imperfections in the road. The tires I took off made the bumps feel harsh.
More input to come...

I did have to trim here (fender flare) with a razor knife because the plastic was sticking out too much.

Comparing the difference to my 275 60 r20 street tire.

I was nervous about fitment, but with a level there is tons of room for 35s. Provided you have the correct offset rim..

They don't stick out much either, which surprised me.

What offset do you have? I have +20 and I want to go to 35's on my next tires. From what I read they'll fit with no rubbing.

5.5 backspace, but I need to double check.

EDIT: This is incorrect, they are a 4.5 backspace. zero offset. My mistake.

This was my second tire choice. I went with the nitto trail, but I have heard alot of good things about the general red!

So far.... I'm very happy camper. I was eyeballing these for a while but they were way too much $$$$$. The nitto trail was my second choice tire, and Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ or MTZ were
my third choices.

These general grabbers are definitely the smoothest mud tire I've experienced... Almost as smooth as a BFG all terrain.
I might hit the beach tomorrow with my girl and try them in the sand if I get time... I really wanna try these in mud, because that is the place where they are rumored to suck by some and shine by others... I hear mixed reviews about snow too, but we shall see.
