Default Gauges are flickering

Hey guys/girls,

Need a question answer ASAP.

It started about a month ago only in the mornings when I start my truck. the gagues would flicker for about 3 seconds before going to it's right place. The needle will jump up and down real fast, weird huh? Any ideas or solutions on this problem?

My truck is:

06 XLT 4x4 5.4 with about 55K.

Thanks!

It is definitely the battery. Do you still have the original motorcraft battery?
My 05 5.4 F150 was doing this for about two months when it was cold out. Two days ago my battery died and i got a new Diehard Gold, it started better yesterday at 18 degrees than it ever has. (and no flickering anymore)

I notices mine flickers when the lights are on auto. I just figured it was due to the lighting situation. Not saying that's ur issue.
