Default gas mileage and performance

Just bought a cherry F150 4 door 2003 4/4. Is there anything to increase gas mileage, that works...

Keep your rpms below 2k, CAI, exhaust sometimes, and supposedly a soft/hard cover on the bed, but I've not seen that tested and it truly work enough to justify it as a mpg mod.

Ide say just don't drive dumb/fast. I get 13mph around town with lots of complete stops (learned the hard way) not to mention it being a crew cab, 5.4 with 37" tires + 4:56 gears. Just drive smart and save the full throttle stuff for the dirt.

^^ ditto. Drive slower, set the cruise, and don't gun it from every stop sign.

Staying within my whistle zone of my throttle body spacer is a way of keeping my rpm's pretty far down. I always clean my airfilter as well. Whatever you can do to help probably will overall.

Default Mileage

in addition to what the others have said: keep your tires properly inflated and keep all your maintenance up. That's things like fluid levels, tuneups, filter replacements as needed etc. The more efficient your vehicle is, with reasonable driving style, you'll get your best mileage. You want to keep your rpms in the most efficient range possible and drive as if you have an egg between your foot and the accelerator.
