Default Gas Gauge Reading Incorrectly after fillup/tune

Little puzzled on this one. During lunch today, I needed to gas up and decided to run 91 for a tank and try out the Flashpaq 91 tune and see how the mileage was.

Changed the tune from 87 to 91 while gassing up, ended up at 23.5 gallons to top off the 27 gallon tank and the pump popped off like normal.

Get in the truck, turn the key, and ... 3/4 tank on the gas gauge. Tried to top the tank off in case the pump was reading wrong, and it turned off as soon as it started pumping. I reset the tune to stock and back to the 91, still reading 3/4.

Any ideas?

I'm having weird needle issues as well, but I have done the LED Cluster swap and think my needles are bad and that is the cause for my problems (I have 1/8 of a tank when the LFI comes on, and my speedo, once it gets to 50, sticks, or will bury itself like i'm doin 135. not sure if this helps, just seein if you and I are in the same boat (up creek) lol.

Haven't done any work on the cluster.

The low fuel indicator comes on with 50 miles left before "E" so 1/8 or a little more is when mine has always shown up.

Good to hear, just did it at lunch, so hopefully it will fix itself.

Mine has done this several times. I notice that if I flash my truck while filling it does this guaranteed. However, after about 20 miles it goes all the way to full...and then sadly, back down again lol. I would not worry about it just yet.

I had this problem this last sunday actually. I was a 1/4 full, then i filled it up and it clicked like usual when its filled. Turned my truck on, the gauge said 1/4...looked back at the gas pump which said 54 dollars was just dropped in and was like hmmm.... put the pump back in the truck, let it fill up a bit more, after 75 cents, it clicked again. Turned the truck on again and the gauge now said completely empty with the low fuel icon showing up. was really confused now. So i drove home and turned it off and back on. The gauge was working again.

Guage is back to full. Thanks for the responses.

I must have not had a full tank when I did the initial tune, so I didn't notice it.
