Gas Filler Valve/Flapper
The first time I filled up the new truck, I noticed that the small metal flapper (1 way valve) that I'm used to in the filler opening was not there. Tank overflowed a decent amount after removing the pump nozzle, so it's got me concerned.
Did Ford leave these out, or is mine missing the valve flapper?
Here's how mine looks:

Weird, what year are your guys trucks?
My '06 F150 has it. Wonder why you guys don't.
Just check the OP's profile. States '06 F150 Scab Lariat. I have an '06 F150 XLT Screw. Same model year, his doesn't while mine does. Interesting.

Anyone know if the "capless" filler valves from the newer F150s would swap in? That could be nice addition.

Hey, maybe all yall don't have one and I'm the lucky F150 owner who found the golden ticket. Not sure what it's worth, but with or without it, my gas fills in just fine.

I wouldn't even worry about it if it hadn't spit out a pint of gas when I pulled the nozzle out the first time. Maybe it was just because the dealer had it on the lot almost empty and the tank pressurized when I filled it all the way up.
