Default Gas door help

Noticed my factory gas door lost its spring load assist to close. Now it just flaps in the breeze. Need some help on how to fix this.
Thanks

Just replaced the same part on my 04 flareside. It is the plastic surround that actually holds the door and surrounds the filler tube. Three bolts to remove, a couple flat tip screwdrivers to help walk it out of the tight spot that it fits in. The door itself kinda slide/locks into place on the arm hinge. Takes about 15 minutes to change, got the part off of ebay for around $60.
Just looked for the thread on replacing it but couldn't find it, still its pretty easy, there are little tabs on the surround part at about 10, 2, 4 and 8 o'clock positions to pop it loose. Open the door, put a small blade screwdriver on the back end of the hinge and kinda walk the door out some till it slides off of the hinge.
Good luck. Tom

The fix is a drill bit, paperclip, and done. No 60 dollars. Imagine how much money people would save using Search...

Good job, wish that I would have been able to find that in my search before I bought mine. Thanks for passing that link.

I was going to search it before I posted, but I did it from my phone and was so frustrated when I found it, I put this up. Thank you very much for the links this should help tremendously and save me a whole lot of money. As well as getting my truck back to normal.
