I just purchased my 07' FX4 about a month ago and I am still digging into it. While looking at some things I found a wiring harness of some sort that is taped in under the steering column. I tried looking for something similar but have had no luck, any thoughts? The taped wires run to the connector then a small group of wires run from the connector to somewhere else (haven't located it yet cause it runs down and under the plastic)

I have the 2007 Factory wiring book, so I'll check those color codes that the crimp connectors are on and report their use Friday on this thread, unless someone else beats me to it.

Looks like it had an aftermarket remote start at one time. Often, dealers remove them before resale if they're a cheap kit, because they can cause more problems than they're worth.
