On my 07 FX2, in the instrument cluster it has the word "SPORT" in red letters. It does not light up with the rest of the cluster. Most models it has the RDNL21, FX4, LARIAT etc and it lights up. Just wondering if I have burned out bulbs or if it is not supposed to light up. I may take it apart and look if I dont get any answers. Thanks

No burned out bulbs. That part that lights up just uses light from the cluster back lights. There are 8 back light bulbs total, if one was burned out, it would just be dimmer.

I don't believe yours is meant to light up.

When I broke my cluster and had to swap, the new one I got was from an auto with the PRD12 or whatever and my manual just has a blacked out piece that goes behind there. The PRD12 was lit up just from the 8 back lights. No specific bulb for that spot.

Yeah, I am thinking it is not supposed to light up. I have been looking all over the interweb and not a single picture has it lit up.

They should have just made the one that comes with your truck say FX2 and light up like the others.

Not a problem. I'd rather help then make you waste time taking the cluster out just to find out it's not supposed to light up. I've taken mine out way too many times.
