Whats up guys, so this past weekend my cel turned on so i went to plug the obd reader in and it wouldnt turn on. So i read up on here for what fuse it was and bam it fixed the obd issue. So changing that fuse also gave life to one of my cig lighters that has never worked since i got the truck, but when i got in my truck today the plug was dead again as well as the obd, so my question is what do you guys think could be causing the fuse to bust or have any of y'all had this issue? if it makes any difference i have an 05 lariat

Sometimes the coils can get too hot over time and melt on each other to cause a short. I was lighting a smoke and it fell on my lap, so I set that thing on a piece of plastic, tried using it the next day and as soon as I pushed it in, it popped back out and my Scanguage II went dead. The OBD II won't work unless every fuse is in tact, soon as I replaced the thing you push in, never had it happen again.
