Be careful, might be fuel pressure in there.

If in your are concerned hit the fuel cut off switch in the passenger footwell and fire it up for a few seconds.

If the truck has sat for a while you might be ok.

Thank guys. I got out there and took care of it. Autozone had an O ring kit that I purchased instead of trying to find the size on the ring by looking at the sensor. It worked. I didn't realize there was an O ring necessary since one didn't come off or at least I didn't see one fall off. Anyways, thanks again!

No o-ring in there? Wow!

That's the sort of repair that burns vehicles to the ground. Glad you got it sorted.

No kidding! After I cranked it once and fuel went everywhere I flashed to thinking that would happen.

Honestly, no i didn't. I purchased what they had on hand. Put some grease on them and installed...I'm assuming I need to do that now.

Not so fast! I went and cranked it this morning and was getting a very rough idol with a check engine light. I brought it up to my local Firestone and am going to get them to scan it and figure out what's wrong. I'm assuming one of the Caps is bad by we shall see. I figure I should let the professionals handle it now.

ETA: Well I must have bumped a fuel injector connection as it was not making contact and causing the rough idol. It's fixed and running smooth now.
