It does it randomly because I just got back from out of town and it's on 1/2 tank. I drove for about an hour and it stalled so when I cranked it it was fine until 5 minutes later. When it does it the battery light and heck engine light light pops on but when I crank it, it goes off.

I'll have to check the seal cause that is a good possibility and I can't blame her (lol) wish I could but it was doing it before I left to go out of town.

You honestly need someone to hook it up to a scanning tool that monitors all sensors and engine actions to see what is happening with voltage and fuel. Are there and codes associated? Some codes don't throw a check engine light but the computer stores them. They can be checked with an SCT device even from a buddy of you know someone with one.

You don't need anything from SCT to do any of that. Get a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner (ebay, amazon...) for less than $20 and then put the Torque Pro app on your phone for $5. Bam. A fully capable scanner that will monitor EVERYTHING going through the computer in real time and will display current and pending engine codes (and you can clear them, too).

Are you sure she did'nt make it worse. ha ha. Man, this is a mystery to me but I agree the pro torque app is a good purchase either way. I feel your pain, I have my own warm start fuel issue I think that I cannot figure out. Gas cap/seal is a long shot. I"d hate to think its the computer or something expensive. I assume you stay in the right lane for the impending stall. Sorry I could'nt help. Keep us up to date on this and good luck

Just thought of something else to check. Fuel rail pressure sensor. Its on the driver side fuel rail with the red vac line going to it. I think you can pop the line off and if theres any gas in it then its bad. The diaphram inside is'nt working correctly. I replaced mine from Rock Auto, think it was like 50 bucks and an easy job. Just have to relive fuel pressure first. Don't know if this thing would cause your symptoms but just remembered it
