Default Fuel line and the "blue clip"...........

whats the trick to getting that sucker off? How do you get the pressure off the line?

push forward on the line and push the clip in i do believe. there should be a test port on the fuel rail were you can relieve the pressure.

You will need a set of fuel line tools. Pull the blue clip out then push in with the tool and pull the hose off the FF

Fuel line disconnect tool. About 5 bucks for one with multiple sizes at your local autozone/advance/pep boys.

yup now i remember. have to have a 5/16 fuel line tool for the front side, just use it on the rear to.

Thanks for the help fellas. I got around to it today and was done in 10 min. You should have seen the crap that came out of that old filter!

yea mine was the same way, dam junky gas we get with ethanol nowadays!

That's the way mine looked and I try to always get Shell or Chevron when possible. BP if I can't get to those 2. I try to stay away from cheap discount gas.... not worth it to save a penny per gal
