Default Frozen washer nozzels

Has anybody experienced what I would call excessive freezing of the nozzels? I haven't had a car that they froze up on in a LONG time. I think so far this winter the ones the 150 have been frozen more than they have been usable.

Any ideas to unfreeze / mitigate this? I am stuck with crappy fluid in from what they dealer filled it with at the moment. Was trying to use it up and get some good de-icer in...

Mine have not been as bad as you describe, but have frozen a couple times on me too. You might be able to add some rubbing alcohol to the reservoir to prevent freezing.

This is the reason that windshield washer fluid (the more expensive stuff anyway) is alcohol based. It will not freeze. Alot of times, assuming you take your truck to a shop or service station- they will fill your tank with water since it is cheaper. Drain out what is in there and use the Rain-X brand stuff. I use it and it works very well. You can actually get some that is specifically designed for colder climates.

I usually run that too. Not only does it de-ice it constantly applies rain-x

Easy way to drain it? I spoz I could just unhook the hose and let it pour out.

If it's been snowing, I know I have to take a coffee cup full of hot tap water out to the truck and splash some on the washer jets.... either that or share some of my coffee with the w/s/w jets..........

I recently bought a bottle of spray de-icer but haven't tried it yet.

I s'pose the $4 windshield washer juice would be a good alternative, but I have several gallons of the cheap stuff I wanna use up.
