Either clean the contacts in the window switch or replace the whole switch itself. I think its like 55 bucks on Rock Auto or you can clean the contact points for free.99

I had the issue with my old FX4, cleaned he contacts and it helped for a few weeks then went bad again. Eventually bought a new drivers side switch panel on eBay for $20 and it was golden.

First check and clean the switch contacts, theres a thread on how to do that in here. Also Check the wires going to the drivers door in the door jam. My passenger window stopped working and I bought a $160 regulator and still did not work, found a broken wire in the driver door jam.

I replaced my regulator and about 6 months later it wasn't working or had a delayed response. I brought it to ford and they wanted $500 to add a little slack to the cables in the door jam since they broke. I bought cable solder and solder iron for like $30 and did it myself. Had no issues yet and that was roughly a month ago.

Inflation has hit, prices are up a bit now but still better than dealer price http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-2003-200...3ceac4&vxp=mtr

Correct. I guess it could be the motor but I doubt it..start with the cheapest thing first. I would bet it is the switch if you were having problems with it to begin with.

I was having the same issue it ended up being the motor. Got it from amazon or eBay for like 90 bucks and it took about an hour to replace. Not very hard at all.
