Front winch mounts for 2008 F-150?
I'm looking for winch mounting options for the front of my 2008 FX4. I prefer a simple mount that is hidden or semi-hidden.
I have searched and found them for previous models but have found nothing for the 2008. Does anyone know of one or have a recommendation?
If semi-hidden or hidden is not available, then a forward mount or a simple bull-bar with mount would be what I want in black - recommendations?

Here's one for ya! Doesn't get anymore hidden than that! Now it says its for 2004 to 2006 F150s, but I'd call Warn and ask a customer service rep, because I don't believe there's much if any difference between those and your 2008.

the warn one is nice but if you get the other one you can switch it to other trucks or to the rear it would suck to be stuck with a winch on the front and nothing to pull to but switch it to the back of the truck and winch it that way

Ok, found these folks who did one for the '09 model (front and back winches) - custom job but very nice! They are using the Warn hidden model - but probably had to do some custom bracket work. I looked at the Warn a bit more and saw " '04-'05 only! " stated.

I have the warn on my 2005, its bad ***. Totally hidden, all you see is the hook, the whole assembly is behind the bumper, only downfall is that its a short drum and only holds 50' of rope, however i've had my truck buried a few times and thats always been enough.
If your a hardcore mudder then the reciver mount is better, it gives you more flexability. However if you were a hardcore mudder you would most likely have somthung much much lighter, like a jeep..
I like the hidden mount, its always there, you dont have to worry about your friend borrowing it and not bringing it back in time....

I called Warn the "Hidden kit" is for 04 to 05 only! The tech said Ford changed up the front ends leaving no place to mount the winch... I'm going to have to look at my 06 and compare it to an 05 when one comes in...

I talked with the x-tremetoyz people and they emailed me info and pics on how they custom fitted the Warn hidden winch. I'll try and find a local shop who are willing to try the custom fit also now that I have instructions!
