So moog doesn't have anything for our 4x4 7200 weight. Their 4wd ones are for 8200 government duty trucks make the ride really really stiff and the 2wd aren't the right height size for 4x4. I have to go with ford oem ones. Just Heads up to all you guys.

Why do you say that moog aren't the right height? I'm using he Moog Replacement Coil Springs 80098 with 5100 adjustable shocks.

After getting a moog replacement pair I felt they didn't look right. I called moog HQ and stated that the one that I bought said was a 4x4 they said I ended up with the 2wd version and that with 4x4 they differs in spring hight. So when I questioned the parts rep I asked about the springs and why there aren't any for the fx4 s-crew style body with shortbed 5.5 7200 gvw pickups. He stated after putting the manager on the phone since I wanted specifics, that they don't make them for the 4x4 unless I went with the 8200 but that extra 1000 pound would cause the ride to be extremely stiff Or if I had a 96" bed. After that I called my shop and where I take my truck if I don't have the time to wrench and they confirmed and showed me on a rwd f150 they had there. Turns out I just going to get MC ones. Save the hassle.

Mark I got the 80098 ones as well since that was what everyone seemed to get with their 5100s which is what I changed to.

OK I think I follow. You're wanting a direct replacement coil and not compressing it with an adjustable shock or spacer then right?

I wanted 2" lift so I that's why I went with the 80098 and 5100's.

Mark or anyone have you heard of monroe at all? 181361 part no
I found these and i can just strip the spring kit and use with the 5100s and save money by not having to buy all parts separate. These are for the fx4 i called today and checked lol
