Yes, they do!
Didn't have one on my F150 for a while, but got pulled over for it and decided to just suck it up.
Never putting one on my WS6 TA though, been pulled over a couple dozen times for it and have never gotten a ticket.
The cops will generally let it slide, but they will tell you to get it put on, as long as you don't get hit by the same cop for it you will probably be good.

Dang looks better with no plate upfront! Wonder if it be cool with the cops if its behind the windshield?
I get ya. Cobra never had a plate up front but rarely drove it

Depends on the cop but technically that is a No No. I have seen guys pulled over cuz it's in the windshield, yet I see guys who kept it in the stock position and slapped Bull Bars over them completely covering them and they never get pulled over?
It's just hit or miss it seems like.

Former Powerstroker
Kept mine off when i lived in IL for the last 2 years because it dropped my trans temp by 10 degree while towing on my powerstroke. I am going to assume it helps a 150 as well. And if not it looks clean and noone in FL cares.

I've lived in TX for over 20yrs. The rules states if your vehicle has a bracket for a front plate, then you must have a license plate on it. If your vehicle only has a rear plate bracket, then you only need the rear plate.
Basically, you could always take the front bracket off like my folks did. Never got pulled over once.
